Acadia National park

April 15th is not only tax day, today Acadia National park opened the park loop road and the visitor Center in Hulls Cove. The weather was good for the park opening today high 50's and sunny I saw people on motorcycles and even a car with their convertible top down crusing down main street. It is a sign that everyone is anxious for the season to begin. Although I did see some areas with snow on the ground they are few and far between, As I worked in the shop setting up dispalys and unpacking stock quite a few people came to the door to see if the building was open wondering when things get going in Bar Harbor. I saw a deer today crossing the highway towards the beach as I was heading home for the day. Last night we went to Mama DiMatteos for dinner one of the few resturants that stay open year round it was awesome as usual. The owner Eric found time to stop by our table for a chat. Check out the web site Mama Dimatteos Restaurant, Bar Harbor.
